The migration was challenging because it required activating IMAP access for each mailbox in Zimbra before starting, and because customers had heavy reliance on the Outlook app for accessing emails and change management was a challenge initially. Additionally, some of the accounts being migrated were personal Gmail accounts.
Brio accessed and migrated customer's data from Zimbra, Personal Gmail to Google Workspace. Brio helped set up advanced spam protection with increased storage, which boosted collaboration and productivity by using tools such as Google Meet, Calendar, and Drive, Woodland was able to have unified data and collaboration all in one
solution.
The Results
The project was a success and the client was very happy with the results. They experienced several benefits, including improved spam protection, enhanced security features, increased storage space, and improved collaboration tools. Users who were comfortable with outlook where given trainings and demos on feature benefits of GWS integrated Gmail UI.
